Service & billing terms

Version 2026-09-30-business-v1. These terms apply to purchases through The Company Chronicle.

What you are buying

Your order identifies the service, price and monthly allowance where applicable. Website builds cover standard business content pages, with mobile-friendly design, draft copy from your intake, a contact form, essential search setup and 10 consolidated revision rounds. Stores, custom applications, major integrations, extra revisions and third-party licenses require a separate written quote. Your domain is included with every website build, and we set up a business email if you don't already have one. Enterprise pricing is an inquiry, not a fixed-price checkout.

Consultation and delivery

Every plan includes a one-on-one consultation. Provide accurate business facts, rights to supplied material and any website access needed. Scope, topics and schedule are agreed with you. Large projects may be phased. Contact us promptly if you cannot provide the information needed to begin; do not leave an unwanted subscription renewing.

Monthly plans

The displayed monthly amount is charged at purchase and renews automatically each month until canceled. There is no free trial. Cancel future renewals using your private billing link or contact us for assistance before renewal. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not itself reverse an earlier charge. Contact us about billing errors, undelivered services or refund requests. Nothing here removes rights required by law.

Website Care

Website Care is mandatory for our website builds and costs $30/month. It is a separate subscription authorized before launch—not a hidden extra in your build payment. It includes managed hosting, HTTPS, backups, uptime checks, weekly performance checks, A/B testing and conversion tuning, and up to 30 minutes of minor content edits per month. Unused edit time does not roll over. Contact us to arrange a site handover before ending care; continued hosting is not included after care ends.

Content services

SEO plans publish the stated number of pages on your own website and require publishing access. They do not include Google Business Profile work. Business Spotlight publishes the stated number of articles on The Company Chronicle, not on your website. These are paid features, labeled as such, with appropriately qualified paid links. Publication is not independent editorial endorsement, and does not guarantee indexing, rankings, traffic, leads, AI mentions or permanent availability. Your consultation establishes useful, distinct topics, not repetitive location copies.

Digital products

Ebooks are delivered as a PDF by email and by a private download link right after your payment is confirmed. Your purchase is for your own personal or business use; please do not share or resell the file or link. Ebooks are educational material, not financial, legal or tax advice, and do not guarantee approval of any loan. If you did not receive your file or were charged in error, contact us with your order reference.
