Di Memo's Pizza: Irving's Mexitalian menu, where tacos and New York-style pizza share a kitchen

Street tacos, birria, and hand-built New York pizza from one Irving kitchen. The Company Chronicle's guide to the menu, the story, and how to order.

Most pizzerias pick a lane. Di Memo's Pizza, tucked into a strip center on North Belt Line Road in Irving, didn't. The menu runs New York-style pizza by the slice and the pie on one side and a full street-taco counter — pastor, birria, cabeza, tripas, suadero, chorizo — on the other, plus a column of Italian-American red-sauce standards: chicken parmigiana, shrimp scampi, baked ziti, lasagna. The kitchen calls the idea fusion. The regulars call it the best lunch in Las Colinas.

Food, family, and fusion

Di Memo's describes its own mission simply: "we're passionate about food, family, and fusion," built on the idea of blending "the bold flavors of traditional Mexican street food with the timeless classics of Italian cuisine." That's not marketing copy stretched thin — it's the actual menu. Order a build-your-own pizza and you can top it with birria or al pastor instead of pepperoni. Order street tacos and they come from the same kitchen that's rolling dough for a 20-inch extra-large ten feet away. On Instagram, where the shop has built a verified following of 16,000 (@dimemospizzatexas), the bio puts it in three words: "Pizza, Pasta y Tacos."

The dish regulars keep ordering

It shows up in review after review: a pizza split down the middle, one side a classic topping, the other side birria or al pastor, with consommé on the side for dipping. Di Memo's own Instagram bio calls this "La Original TacoPizza" — it isn't a separate menu line with its own price, it's what happens when you build your own pizza and ask for a taco filling instead of a standard topping, and it's become enough of a signature that the shop put it in its own bio. One reviewer ordered exactly that combination — "pastor tacos and a medium pizza half pepperoni, half birria, comes with dip" — and called it the best thing on the menu.

What customers are saying

"Tried this place and wow… it was so good! I had the pastor tacos and a medium pizza half pepperoni, half birria comes with dip and everything was delicious. The prices were really reasonable too. Their horchata is absolute bomb, so good! Definitely recommend checking this place out."
Wen D., Google review

"I personally loved the taco pizza with al pastor meat. My son loved the wings and my daughter liked the birria tacos. The horchata drink was another favorite of ours as well! My family and I will definitely return when we are in the area."
Leslie H., Google review

"Ordered department lunch from here on a whim and it did not disappoint. The XL was huge and the toppings were plentiful. The dough was perfect cooked as well. Their salads are fresh and the house dressing was perfectly tart! Highly recommend for group lunch orders or a stop by for a slice type place."
Teresa H., Google review

Two things repeat across the reviews that are easy to overlook until you've eaten there: the horchata gets singled out almost every time, and the XL pizza is the one people order when they're feeding a group — an office lunch, a family stop, a table that can't agree on one topping so they don't have to.
