ShopinX (SPX) is up 122% in a week, but a $23 million token rests on about $167,000 of pool liquidity
The BNB Chain voucher token jumped 80% in a single day on Sept. 26 after falling almost by half earlier in the month. We looked for a cause and could not verify one.
ShopinX (SPX), a token on BNB Chain that its developers pitch as a way to pay for discount vouchers, is up 121.7% over the past seven days, according to CoinGecko data pulled at about 7:40 a.m. New York time on Friday. It traded near $0.093, down 6.0% in the past 24 hours, for a market value of about $23.2 million. It is the largest mover on this morning's movers board that we can write about honestly; the coin listed above it, a euro stablecoin, is carrying a stale price that CoinGecko last updated in June.
The numbers, all of them
| Period | Change |
|---|---|
| 24 hours | −6.0% |
| 7 days | +121.7% |
| 14 days | +148.4% |
| 30 days | +52.8% |
| 1 year | Not available: CoinGecko's daily history starts Aug. 26, 2026. From that first reading of $0.0553 it is up about 68%. |
| From its high of $0.1251 (Oct. 1) | −25.7% |
The 30-day figure is smaller than the 7-day one for a reason. SPX spent most of September falling: from about $0.0595 on Sept. 3 to $0.0312 on Sept. 25, a drop of roughly 48%, and it set its all-time low of about $0.0274 on Sept. 22. Part of this week's gain is a recovery of that ground.
One day did most of the work
CoinGecko's daily series puts the break on Sept. 26. The price went from $0.0312 to $0.0563 that day, a gain of about 80%, and daily volume rose from about $165,000 to about $837,000. It kept climbing to $0.0913 by Sept. 28 and touched its record $0.1251 on Thursday afternoon. At today's price it is still close to triple its Sept. 25 level.
The number that matters: how little is actually trading
This is not a high-churn story. In the past 24 hours about $438,000 of SPX changed hands, roughly 2% of its market value. The more telling figure is what sits behind that market value.
CoinGecko tracks SPX on only two markets, both PancakeSwap pools on BNB Chain. DexScreener data shows those pools holding about $144,900 (the pair against the USDT stablecoin) and $22,000 (the pair against BNB). That is about $167,000 of liquidity in total, against a token the market-cap figure values at $23.2 million, a ratio of roughly 139 to 1.
In plain terms: the $23 million number is the last traded price multiplied by 250 million tokens in circulation. It is not money that could be taken out. With pools that size, a single seller of a few tens of thousands of dollars can move the price sharply, in either direction. The pools logged about 712 and 755 trades respectively over the past day, with buys and sells roughly balanced.
Supply is the other thing to know. Only 250 million of SPX's fixed 1 billion tokens count as circulating. At today's price, the full supply would be valued at about $93 million. The project says the remaining 75% is held in on-chain locks and vesting schedules, with one reserve tranche starting to unlock in July 2027.
We looked for a cause and could not find one
We searched CoinDesk, Cointelegraph and Google News for ShopinX and found no reporting on the move, only automatically generated price pages and a price-prediction post. The project's own site lists no dated announcement for Sept. 25 or 26.
The closest thing to news on the ShopinX site is a roadmap line saying a listing agreement has been signed with CoinTR, a licensed exchange in Turkey. The same line says the trading pair is still pending and that SPX is not trading on CoinTR yet. The entry carries no date, so we cannot tie it to the Sept. 26 jump, and an agreement to list is not a listing. The token's voucher marketplace, GoBenefits, is Turkish-language and quotes SPX in lira.
We could not verify what drove the move. That is the finding. A token with thin pools can rise this far on buying that would barely register elsewhere, and nothing we found suggests a change in the underlying business on the day it happened.
Elsewhere on the list
Quant (QNT) is still up 140% on the week but fell 16% in the past day; we have covered its run several times since Sept. 25 and found no new development. Moonriver (MOVR), which we wrote about this week, again shows the list's highest churn, with a day's volume about 4.5 times its $27 million market value, and is down 27% in 24 hours. Dolphin (POD), an AI inference token on Base, is up 113% in 24 hours alone.
