Dolphin (POD) is up 146% in a week after an Upbit listing, and 94% of its trading is in Korean won
About $92 million of POD changed hands in 24 hours against a $71 million market value, almost all of it on Upbit, which began trading the token on Oct. 2. Before that, a day's volume was about half a million dollars.
Dolphin's POD token is up 146% over the past seven days and about 11% in the past 24 hours, according to our movers board, built from market data at 7:25 a.m. New York time on Sunday. CoinGecko showed it near $0.85 about 15 minutes later, for a market value of about $71 million.
The volume is the bigger story than the price. About $92 million of POD traded in the last 24 hours, roughly 1.3 times the value of every POD token in circulation. When a day's trading is larger than a coin's whole market value, the same tokens are moving quickly between traders, and that turnover is what is setting the price. A price set that way can fall back as quickly as it rose.

CoinGecko publishes no one-year change for POD. Its price history starts on Oct. 20, 2025, and the series jumps more than tenfold during the first half of May 2026, a break we could not explain from the data alone. We are not computing a long-range return off a series with a gap like that. What the numbers do show clearly is the last week: the token sat near $0.31 for days before the listing and has nearly tripled since.
The cause: an Upbit listing
Unlike many coins on this list, POD's jump has a dated, primary-source cause. South Korea's largest exchange, Upbit, posted a notice at 1:37 p.m. Korea time on Oct. 2 (12:37 a.m. in New York) announcing trading in POD against the Korean won, Bitcoin and Tether, with trading set to open at 4 p.m. Korea time that day. Bitcoinist also reported the listing.
Upbit's notice listed a reference price of 428 won, or 0.3147 Tether, just before trading opened. Upbit's own ticker showed POD at 1,146 won on Sunday evening in Seoul, about 168% above that reference. The won price set a 52-week high of 1,287 won earlier on Sunday.
Where the trading happens tells the rest. Upbit's won market recorded about 117.4 billion won of POD turnover in 24 hours. At Upbit's own won-to-Tether rate of 1,358, that is roughly $86 million, about 94% of the $92 million CoinGecko counts across all venues. The on-chain pools on Base, the network the token runs on, did a few million dollars between them. Before the listing, CoinGecko's rolling 24-hour volume figure was about $466,000. In other words, this rally is almost entirely a Korean-won market that did not exist before Friday.
We saw a similar pattern last week with SOON, where two Korean exchanges carried most of the volume. New listings on a large exchange bring a wave of first-time buyers, and that early volume does not tell anyone what the token trades at once the listing is no longer new.
What Dolphin is
Upbit's notice describes Dolphin as an AI project that fine-tunes public AI models and spreads AI inference work across idle graphics cards contributed by node operators, with validators checking that nodes run the model they claim to. It says POD is used for staking and bonding. Those are the project's and exchange's descriptions; we have not tested the network.
The supply detail
CoinGecko counts about 83.5 million POD in circulation out of a maximum of 500 million, roughly 17%. That is why the market value is about $71 million but the fully diluted value, every possible token at today's price, is about $425 million. Holders and traders watch release schedules on tokens like this because new supply reaching the market adds sellers. We did not find a published unlock date to report.
