BlockHorizon opens its bitcoin on-chain charts for free, and PlanB is telling traders to use it
The Netherlands-based analytics site offers 150+ cycle charts, alerts and CSV, Excel and JSON downloads at no cost. Its Cycle Index reads 34, in the bearish zone, as bitcoin trades near $85,700.
Bitcoin analyst PlanB, who posts as @100trillionUSD on X, has been pointing his large following to BlockHorizon, a bitcoin on-chain analytics site he says is now "100% free." His post of July 2, 2026, which had about 233,000 views when we read it, lists all metrics with daily updates, full history, unlimited alerts and CSV, XLS and JSON downloads, and says bitcoin metrics "used to cost thousands per year." We went through the site to see what a trader actually gets.
What you can use for free
BlockHorizon's FAQ says the full platform is free, with no credit card and no trial countdown. We opened the charts terminal without logging in and found 154 charts with history back to 2010 or 2012, updated through October 5, 2026. The library covers the standard on-chain toolkit: MVRV and MVRV Z-Score, NUPL, SOPR, realized price, HODL waves, cost-basis distribution, miner revenue, the Pi Cycle Top indicator, the 50, 100 and 200 week moving averages and PlanB's own stock-to-flow and realized-price models. Each chart has a download menu offering CSV, Excel and JSON. A free account adds alerts and the rest of the platform.
The Cycle Index, today
The site's signature feature turns 16 metrics into a single 0 to 100 score, from bottom through bearish and bullish to top. On October 5 the Signals page showed a Cycle Index of 34, labeled bearish, with bitcoin at $85,756. Six of the 16 signals were bullish, six bearish and four in the bottom zone, and all 16 were rising over 30 days. The MVRV Z-Score read 21 and long-term-holder MVRV read 13, both in the bottom phase, which historically marks cheap territory. Two signals, long-term-holder NUPL and supply in profit, turned bullish on October 4.
That is the site's own scoring, not a forecast, and it is a long-cycle gauge. Data updates once a day, so it does not replace the live bitcoin chart or our crypto coverage for short-term trading.
Who is behind it
BlockHorizon says it computes its metrics from its own Bitcoin full node. An EIN Presswire release dates the platform's launch to November 24, 2025 and places the company in Barneveld, in the Netherlands. The release does not name its founders. The site's pages differ on size, citing 125+ metrics on one page and 150+ on another, so check the plan and chart list you see after signing up.
Bottom line
For anyone who watches bitcoin's long-term cycle, a free, exportable, daily-updated on-chain dashboard is a useful addition, and PlanB's endorsement is bringing it a lot of attention. Cross-check the numbers you trade on against a second source.
