Guahan Grill · Oceanside, CA
Guahan Grill is a family-run Chamorro restaurant at 515 Mission Avenue in Oceanside, California. It serves the food of Guam: barbecue chicken and pork ribs, red rice, chicken kelaguen, empanadas and lumpia, plus newer dishes such as poke bowls and a loaded-fries plate called the Guam Bomb. It is open every day from 11am to 9pm for dine-in and takeout, and it also caters.
Guahan is the Chamorro name for Guam, and the restaurant's own description is plain about the goal: authentic Chamorro dishes alongside some newer creations, in what it calls fiesta-size portions at a family-friendly price. The room plays island music, and the greeting on the website is Hafa Adai.
